Who Qualifies
You may qualify for Czech citizenship by descent if:
Czech or Czechoslovak Parent: At least one parent was a Czech (or Czechoslovak) citizen at the time of your birth.
Declaration Route: Individuals who lost citizenship due to not opting for it in 1993 (when Czechoslovakia split) may reclaim it by declaration.
Restoration for Exiles: Those who lost citizenship between 1948-1989 due to political persecution may apply for restoration.
Note: Czech Republic permits dual citizenship since 2014. No language requirement for descent-based claims.

Requirements

Proof of Ancestor's Citizenship: Passport, ID, or official records proving your ancestor held citizenship.
Apostilles and Translations: All foreign documents must be apostilled and translated into the official language.
