Marriage to a Panamanian national provides a direct route to residency. After your marriage is registered in Panama, you can apply for temporary residency, which converts to permanent residency after a qualifying period.
Requirements
Valid marriage certificate — Registered in Panama
Passport — At least 6 months validity
Police clearance — From your home country
Health certificate — Required as part of the application
Document authentication — All documents must be apostilled and translated to Spanish
